Unraced and ready for the trails!

Known around the stable as Ellas, this unraced 4YO gelding has had two blocks of retraining and is ready for his new home. As an unraced horse, Ellas was very straightforward in his retraining and we think he is suited to a home of trail riding, pony club or low level showing.

Ellas has a beautiful, calm temperament and having only had limited training and no racing, he has a lot less “go” and a bit more “woah” than your usual OTT. In his retraining he has done some basic flat work and trail riding where he was quite happy to go out on his own. If you are looking for that horse you can jump on once in a blue moon, Ellas might just be the perfect horse for you!

As a 3YO Ellas sustained an injury to his right fore lateral suspensory branch. He was spelled and rehabbed but was unable to withstand the pressures of race training and so was retired unraced. He would be unsuitable to jumping or eventing.
