Snaffles is a lightly raced, internationally travelled horse who we think would make a lovely horse for those looking for a stand out in the show ring.

Bred in Ireland, Snaffles had three race starts before he was traded to Hong Kong. He raced in Hong Kong from November 2022 until November 2023 before making his way to Australia. He has been with us at Lindsay Park since July 2024 and was retired in June 2025. Snaffles has some wear and tear to his fetlock joints that meant he could no longer be competitive on the track, but this shouldn’t affect him for low level equestrian pursuits.

Snaffles is set to begin retraining later this year, though we’d consider rehoming him sooner to an experienced rider looking for a rewarding project. He has a lovely temperament and being a horse who has raced internationally, has had plenty of exposure to travel as well as being stabled having lived in Hong Kong for over a year.

If you are looking for a blingy project horse, Snaffles is a fantastic option.

Please note this horse is OTT and is not suitable for beginners.
