Euroa - Assistant Trainer
Reports to: Trainers & General Manager
Hours: Mon - Sat 04:30am - 11:00am
Location: Euroa
Our worldclass private training facility at Euroa is looking for someone to fill the role of Assistant Trainer to run our Morning Shift. This is the logistical heart of our training operation, and we need an extraordinary person to oversee and manage it. You need to be able to organise and run our daily training schedule for approx. 200 horses, supervise a team of around 70 staff including riders and stablehands, liaise with our trainers, vets and farriers, use Prism, manage feed rosters, check feed every morning and do the paddock lists for which horses are to go out daily. It’s a big role but has the full support of management, trainers and senior staff. You will need to have experience at a management level in racing stables, enjoy a challenge, be calm under pressure, a logical thinker, an excellent communicator and enjoy racing success at the elite level.
