Flemington - Afternoon Stablehand
Reports to: Foreperson
Hours: Mon - Fri: 12pm - 4:30pm
Every second weekend: Saturday: 1pm - 4:30pm. Sunday: 1:30pm - 4:30pm
Location: Flemington
Lindsay Park Flemington is currently seeking experienced stablehands to join our team for our afternoon shift.
Applicants will need to be competent with all aspects of horse handling and enjoy working as part of a team at the elite level. Experience working in a thoroughbred racing stable will be highly regarded.
Successful applicants will be rewarded with above award wages whilst being a part of a great team environment.
Duties include:
Mucking out
Swimming & treadmilling
Walking horses & taking them for a pick of grass
Feeding
Rugging
