This season marks the first crop of yearlings by AYSAR, a Stallion who we trained here at Lindsay Park and was an outstanding racehorse. Possessing natural speed, he was a 2YO winner who went on to run 2nd in the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas (To Ole Kirk) and then trained on to win the Chatauqua Stakes as a 5YO amongst many other Stakes placings. He is also from one of the most current and well performed families in the studbook being a half brother to HOME AFFAIRS and out of a half sister to RUSSIAN REVOLUTION.
For all these reasons, we travelled to the far west of the country to the Magic Millions Perth sale this week to purchase one of his first yearlings and we have secured a gorgeous filly from a great running family. This filly ticked all the boxes, Great Side Profile with a Deep Girth, Strong Shoulder and good sized frame. She moved very well from the first inspection but improved throughout the week just like a good athlete should and her temperament was unflappable, taking the whole sales week in her stride and now she is travelling to Victoria to join us at Lindsay Park Racing.
