Written Tycoon / Miss Iano colt
Purchased for $400,000 plus sales costs
This colt by Written Tycoon caught our attention with his loose and effortless walk. He looks to have a very cruisy temperament and has handled the sales environment very well. On type he is well balanced, with a bit of scope - there is still plenty of growing to come. We particularly like his depth of girth and length.
On paper he is by one of the best stallions in Written Tycoon, who now at 21 is only serving a select number of mares. This could mean his youngsters will be harder to come by in the coming years. Despite his age they are still in high demand and we are thrilled to have secured another of his progeny. On the track, the colt's dam was an out and out sprinter winning 8x between 1000m - 1200m and was also stakes-placed. This is her first foal and we think she has done a fantastic job in producing this lovely colt.
