In the 1980’s Colin Hayes’ vision for the future saw him purchase a block of land backing onto Randwick Racecourse in Sydney. Complete with a house, 166 Doncaster Avenue, Kensington is now known as David Hayes’ Lindsay Park Sydney Stables.

A modern eight box stable barn was built on the block with direct horse access onto the Randwick training tracks and equine pool facilities. Today these stables are invaluable when he have horses competing in Sydney.

The three-bedroom house literally adjoins the stables providing essential accommodation to Lindsay Park staff who are always on hand to the horses. While another apartment within the stable area allows more Lindsay Park track staff the opportunity work in Sydney and attend the horses.
