> One of Rory’s Jester’s most precocious sons, running 4th in a vintage Blue Diamond behind Redoute’s Choice and Testa Rossa.

The defining quality of Real Jester’s family is speed. His dam, Dangerous Seam, won the Maribyrnong Trial as an early two-year-old as well as running third in the Gold Coast Magic Millions. His full brother, Seidnazar, ran second in the Maribyrnong Plate and Blue Diamond Stakes. Real Jester himself tasted victory early in the Listed Merson Cooper, as well as placings in the Maribyrnong Plate and Blue Diamond Prelude. He then raced in one of the most celebrated Blue Diamonds of recent history, running fourth behind champions, Redoute’s Choice and Testa Rossa.

In his first seasons at stud, serving small book of mares in Western Australia, Real Jester exceeded expectations. From just 30 starters, he has produced a stakes winner, three further stakes performers and five offspring with three or more race wins to their name.

A stallion free of Northern Dancer blood, Real Jester sired live 73 foals in 2007, more than his previous three seasons combined. His 2007 crop will be a real highlight for Lindsay Park Stud in 2009, both at the yearling sales and on the track in the early two-year-old races. We look forward to him adding some quantity to his already quality results.
