Sam HayesManaging Director & PrincipalFollowing five years in the wine industry Sam returned to Lindsay Park in 2001. After working for his Uncle in Sales & Marketing, Sam assumed the role of Managing Director in 2005 after purchasing an interest in the Stud.

Greg ThomasAdministration ManagerGreg Thomas is the backbone of our administration. He handles all our bloodstock paperwork and everything from stallion bookings to insurance; transport to sale entries. If you want to know anything, you know you can always call Greg.

Peter BurkeAssistant ManagerAs a member of the senior management team and with particular focus on staff, Yearling preparation and care of foals, Peter joined Lindsay Park Stud in 2007 as our first Assistant Manager. He brings a wealth of experience with him, having worked for Coolmore in Ireland and Reavill Farm in NSW, and most recently as Yearling manager at Brooklyn Lodge.

David StortonOperations ManagerDavid has been with us since 1984, which is a mark of his commitment to Lindsay Park. A genuine hard-worker, he is one of the most accomplished hands-on horsemen in Australia. He’s been personally entrusted with all our premier stallions for the last 15 years, which bespeaks our trust.

Dean ElliottMarketing & Client Relations ManagerDean joined Lindsay Park in 2006, originally from Victoria. He is involved in the Marketing and PR side of Lindsay Park Stud as well as being a contact for clients during the stud season and throughout the year.

Boo HarveyNominations ManagerOriginally from the Hay Plains in New South Wales, Boo has previuosly worked in the UK and France in a broad range of fields in the Thoroughbed Industry. Boo is the key point of contact for owners wishing to send their mares to Lindsay Park Stud.

Madalen BaltussenReproductive VetOur 2-IC to Lindsay Park’s Senior Veterinary Surgeon, Campbell Baker, Maddy is an excellent communicator who cares for all the mares, foals and stallions in our care. Her personal goal is to make sure each mare on the farm is given every chance of getting in-foal.

Pip SmithAdministration AssistantPip is the most recent addition to the team at Lindsay Park Stud coming from Queensland to join the team in late 2008. Pip is working alongside Greg Thomas in her role as Administration Assistant.

Darren ThomasDarren Thomas is the Managing Director of leading South Australian meat processor T&R Pastoral, which like Lindsay Park Stud, is a wholly owned Australian family business. He has a deep passion for Breeding and Racing, and in 2008 purchased a share in Lindsay Park Stud in partnership with Sam Hayes. As a Director of the company, Darren's business acumen and knowledge of the Thoroughbred industry will be pivotal to our future growth.

Eddie TaylorEddie joined Shearer & Elliss Accountants and Auditors in 1992 and was admitted as a partner in July 1996. He is a director of a number of private companies and also sits on the Scotch College Investment Board. Eddie’s personal business experience will be a big asset as Lindsay Park Stud moves forward. |
